Trinity of Time Scene 1 Act 3

Yesterday, I went to Ponyville on my own for the first time in a while, just so I could purchase that new album I really like. I don't get my peers at the castle orphanage. All they like is loud, party music. Personally, I prefer video-game music. The songs I listen to are really weird; what with the lyrics about monsters and fantasies. They think I'm retarded because of it. Just because they don't understand my style, doesn't mean they can just cast me aside like I'm some sort of trash.

Speaking of trash, the Princesses assigned me with assisting the "Clean Ponyville" program. I have no idea what that has to do with Magic Academy. Also, they put this weird silver ring on my horn, as to prevent me from using my magic while helping the program. Why did I have to do this? It's not like I'm a bad student either; I'm the finest, most intelligent student in my classroom. Yeah... Now that I think about it, it doesn't sound that impressive anymore. The colts in my class are absolute morons, who just love throwing garbage around, expecting others to clean up after their mess. That somepony usually ends up being me.

How is it, that I haven't met one guy in my year so far, who isn't the least bit weird in some way. Most of the boys in my classroom are idiots. They couldn't even teleport for their lives. I know that one colt usually sits in the corner alone. I wanna talk to her, but he seems frightening. I always see him tinkering with something at his desk. He always needs to hold sopmething in his hooves. I've never seen his face because he always wears a hooded cape. Everyday, he comes into class long before anyone else, always sits in that one corner his face against the wall. He gives me the creeps.

The school bell just rung. Time to go "save nature." Goodness, I hate this! Why did the Princesses assign this to me?! Or maybe it's one of the teachers... Hmm... Let's see... Which one of them has a grudge against me... Just asking myself that one question already makes for a pretty long suspect list. It's not my fault if they're teaching too slow. Half the time, I already know what they're talking about even before they begin the lesson. How am I ever going to be as good as Twilight Sparkle if I'm stuck with these third rate morons popping up everywhere.

I popped in the CD in my CD player. It was a little old school, but as long as it worked, it was good enough for me. My headphones made me oblivious to my surroundings. I was lost in a world of my own, jamming to some smooth techno beats. Hours, minutes and seconds lost all meaning to me. Time itself was now bound to the beat of the music, my bopping head, and the tapping of hooves all around me. Downtown Canterlot was especially busy at this hour. I took some liberties, and ignored everypony in my path. If I stay on the sidewalk, I'll be fine.

If only the ponies of my time would have more consideration for the world around them, then maybe I wouldn't be stuck picking up trash in the park. Yes, I do sound like a hypocrite right now, but it's true. I only hate the ponies, but certainly not Equestria itself. This land was a beautiful place I would never want to see ruined. I just wish we could have stuff like robots do all the work for us. Heck, living in the past, when all this junk didn't exist doesn't sound so bad. If only...
